Dr. Ro Kulkarni is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Newport, South Wales. He works in both NHS and private practice. He specialises in trauma and general orthopaedic surgery, with a particular focus on shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Kulkarni also has decades of experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
As a recognised leader in shoulder and elbow surgery, Dr. Ro Kulkarni is an expert advisor to a number of national and international organisations. He is deeply involved in the development and implementation of the tariff based funding system for the NHS in England.
Dr. Kulkarni was one of the top four orthopaedic surgeons in the UK by the Sunday Times, reflecting his outstanding reputation and clinical expertise. In addition, he served for 10 years as Honorary Orthopaedic Surgeon to the Wales National Rugby Squad, providing specialist care to elite international athletes.
