Dr. Shafiq A. Shahban is currently an NHS Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Walsall, Birmingham with subspecialty interests in Primary and Revision hip and knee arthroplasty (including robotic arthroplasty) and orthopaedic trauma surgery. As a robotic arthroplasty surgeon he takes on all forms of complex primary hip and knee arthroplasty as well as dealing with revision surgery.
His aim is to offer surgical excellence by offering unique and personalised treatment to his patients incorporating the latest surgical developments and clinical evidence. He offers a patient-centred approach to orthopaedic surgery, taking into account specific needs and expectations.
